'Tis the first time i'm actually analyzing warrant charts. Can't be sure if this is a winner but i think it'll make a pivot today (30/10/07) or tomorrow (31/10/07). 20 cents looks like a good buy as long as it doesn't open with a gap down tommorow. I've no idea which is the mother share or what kinda company this is. Damn, wish i had intraday data. Take this with a grain of salt. No, make it a large bowl of salt... smiley

I do not doubt on your TA but do u know when play on CW u have to know the ex price and the ratio?
Today ANGANG-C1 close at 21c and the mother is HKD30.00 the convert price is HK24.88 the ratio is 30:1 so round up to be HKD 39, but now mother only HKD30.00

I never played warrants before nor do i know how to. Only look at TA. Would like to learn from some of you. For starters, i don't understand the meaning of 30:1 ratio and how do u get HKD39?

All i know is that for warrants, there is a certain strike price that can be exercised by the buyer of the warrant at a specified date. So, correct me if i'm wrong, in ANGANG, traders who buy the warrant can opt to buy the mother share at HK24.88 before the expiry date of the warrant. So, if the mother share is already HK30 (> HK24.88), this means that less people would want to buy the warrant and the warrant price won't go up/will go down. Am i getting this right?  undecided

Firstly, perhaps u didn't read my warning...
Take this with a grain of salt. No, make it a large bowl of salt... smiley

2ndly, even if i didn't warn forummers about my prediction, they (be it beginners or pros) should know well enough not to blindly follow any rumour, tips, predictions, etc... from the public. All i did was highlight what i thought was a trade opportunity (because i felt confident about it). They should do their own analysis to either agree with me or disagree. Simple.  smiley

That's why trading for me serves another purpose besides passion: to be rid of low-life mongrels with no sense of responsibility and a decent amount of integrity.  angry

Just finding it hard to have a really consistently profitable trading method/system...Sigh... cry
