how to ask MS to filter counter which fulfill our formulae..?..thx

hello , good day to all,

i would like to say tq in advance for advice.

i am here would like to get help , if i have write a formula , how do we ask MS to filter ALL counter for us which had fulfill our condition..?

i ahd ask my friend , he told me have a add-in into "explorer" counter by counter (which is now BURSA have >1000 counter ) and run the test, but i felt this is a bit risk , bcos everyday might be have new counter added into bursa , then , everyday we run the test we have to add all conter again and again which i felt not so friendly ,

can anybody here advice us ( me & my friend ) , whether we are doing the right way or is there a better way.

fyi...one of my friend is using ChartNexus , once he wrote the formula , the system will filter and rompt him all counter that suits his formulaeand no need to add counter by counter . This is what i think is more easy way.

Put all KLSE data into one folder
Then click select all, everyday.

thx for the advice ,
pls forgive me , i am computer baby , i am not so good in computer...

as i knew , i had download/update data everyday from bizfun , the data seems like oreli in folder ( separate into industrial folder ) . Is there a way tat i can convert the bizfun data into loose form , so that i can keep it in only one folder , or do u mean i need to cut paste from all folder into the created folder..??

i am very sorry , if i am frustrating u , may u can help me to explain in a flow in point form....

Dont cut and paste into one folder. All will rojak. Previously thats what I did 

Convert all into ASCII
Then convert back to MS format into one folder
Next time update do manual conversion into that one folder.

This step is actually not required. It may misleading and cause more data error. MetaStock come with add securities function and as I know (for version 7 or , once you added it the first time to explore, the securities were added next time when you want to explore again. So, it is one time setup only. I am not sure about version 9 or 10 but I believe the software is not going to downgrade the function.

Anyway, if new counter, then need to select all again loh.
Of course if all in one folder, then easier

If you use version 7, it capture folder's content. So, no problem when new security added because it will be added when you do exploration. I am doubt why newer version need to select securities...
