registry contains your setting on your computer...normally, spyware will write in your registry to disable this and that.
then u can't  change any setting, can't start taskmanager, etc.
it is just a small line in your registry and u normally couldn't find it out in the huge system...

some program such as advance registry tracer can trace your registry changes between 2 date and u could found that crap out easily...
also, if you (bizfun) are using a lot of trials program, beware..
they might cause u more problems..
i had personally tried programs around and some program prevent them to uninstall or
they might even send a popup after uninstallation saying ur pc have problem and ask u buy it..

jayyau2001, pls advice how to disable some of the program from startup? My XP slow at startup i think cos a lot of program to load at first starup.

Go to "START" > "RUN" > Type " msconfig " > In the "Startup" folder, disable programs that you don't need on startup.
