Please check on Jerneh, the consolidation on right issue on 27/6/07 is not updated in your Jun'07 monthly data.

If you download Jun-07 data and open mainfinance.txt file, you can see JERNEH is the first counter that I adjust. Nothing wrong, you have to make sure your Downloader is at default setting; able to overwrite data with same date. The "Replace matching date" must checked, under Downloader, Tools, Convert, Option, Destination.

Hi, Mr. Lim. May be this is due to conversion ratio. I have checked with itrade cimb analysis chart and it show opening price on 26/6/07 is 2.165 and chartnexus is 1.938 and yours is 2.1723. So I don't know which one is correct? Could you please double confirm on the conversion ratio.
Could other people please help to check on other source. It seems that there is a gap down on 27/6/07 based on Mr. Lim's and itrade cimb's data but gap up on chartnexus data.
How bursa determine reference price on 27/6/07. Should it have a gap down or gap up?

Okay, let me explain. Bursa Reference Price on 27-Jun is 2.130, they always round up to 2 decimals after price adjustment. This reference price is refer to earlier closing (26-Jun). The actual closing on 26-Jun is 2.460. So, Bursa adjust from 2.460 to 2.130.

Please note that Reference Price is not Open Price.

The rights issue is 3 for 5 at RM1.60 and my calculation as below:-

((1.60*3) + (2.46*5))/8 = 17.10/8 = 2.1375   

So, closing on 26-Jun (the last date before ex) have to adjust from 2.4600 to 2.1375 exactly. I don't want to round up.

If you adjust from 2.46 to 2.13, you probably have little impact on opening price.

My data; 2.4600 to 2.1375 with opening price on 26-Jun become 2.1723.
itrde     ; 2.4600 to 2.1300 with opening price on 26-Jun become 2.1650.

Both methods is correct, proven calculation as below:-

x = (2.1723/2.1375)*2.46 = 2.5
x = (2.165/2.13)*2.46 = 2.5

Chartnexus, I am not sure either they had adjusted historical data or not.
